Final Design

You are now going to create your Final Design using SweetHome 3D. Your Teacher will show you how to use this software but there are some additional Resources at the bottom of this page, that will help you. If you need to create any Furniture of your own there are also some Sketchup Tutorials at the end of the page (it is your choice if you want to make any of your own Furniture - it is not expected) You will need to:

1) In the Ground Floor View create two rooms, a Bedroom and ensuite, using the supplied dimensions.

2) Add materials, textures and colours to Walls and Floors

3) Add and position your chosen furniture and bathroom features (use Furniture Libraries or download from BIM sites)

4) Add your own images, where appropriatefor things like Rugs and Paintings (or even Tiles on Walls & Floors)

5) Use Virtual Visit settings to show your rooms from different viewpoints ( Bedroom and Bathroom)

6) Add a ceiling and lights to your 'model'.

7) Create Render photos of Virtual Views as well as an overall views from above.
