Adobe Photoshop is the worlds most used photo and image editor. Almost every photo you see in magazines, newspapers, books and web pages has been 'photoshopped' to improve it. The Magazine Covers below have been created using Photoshop. Click on them to see larger versions.

Analyse and List all of the different elements that make up the Magazine Covers shown above.

Part 2

You are to create a GirlPower Magazine Cover for next months issue. The Design is entirely up to you but it must include all of the elements that you identified earlier.

Save your work as a PSD file. When you have finished you will also need to output a JPEG version. Your teacher will tell you when and how the two files should be submitted.

Watch the Photoshop Video Tutorials below to help you create your Magazine Cover. The version of Photoshop used in the videos might look a bit different to your version, but they will demonstrate the same techniques. If you are unsure about anything, ask your teacher.
