Bag Tag Task

Students at Loreto College often take part in Sports Competitions, Camps, Retreats, Excursions and Overseas Trips. For most of these activities the students are required to take a bag with them. Sometimes bags get lost or mixed up. It would be really good to have a way of easily recognising who owns each bag. You have been employed to design a prototype Loreto Bag Tag.       Your Bag Tag:

	Must have a hole that can be used to attach a keyring, string or cable tie.
	Must be no bigger than 100mm x 50mm x 3mm in size.
	Should have your name on it. (letters can be up to 2mm tall)
	Must be made using a 3D printer.
	Should be visually attractive and eye catching.
	Should be safe to use and not easily broken.
	Can have additional information such as a Phone Number, Loreto College etc.

To help you work out your Design ideas and to help choose the best one, you are to use the Bag Tag Design Template. Your teacher will provide you with this. An image is shown (right) and an A3 PDF version can be downloaded by clicking on the PDF symbol below. The template will help you to work out the sizes you need to use later on when you draw your design in Sketchup. Each box is 100 mm x 40 mm and the lines are spaced 10 mm apart.
