News and Sports Report - Scripts

You are to create two scripts for your newsreader to read out on the Radio. The scripts should be:

1) A News Report (30 seconds)

2) A Sports Report (30 seconds)

The scripts need to be written using Microsoft Word. They need to be clear and concise and each one should take about 30 seconds to read.

Listen to the example reports in the MP3 player below. Use the Left and Right Arrow buttons to move between tracks (rather than clicking directly on the track name)

Your Reports they must be easy to read and understand.

You need about five News stories and about three Sports segments.

Write each segment or Story as a separate paragraph and leave at least one empty line between each one.

Spellcheck and proofread all Reports before submitting them. Make sure you have put your name and a heading on each Report

Read your Reports out loud to make sure they run for the correct amount of time (30 seconds for each report) . Don't speak quickly or talk slowly to make them work. Adjust your writing not your speaking!
