Coco Software

For this unit you will be using a piece of software called Coco. Coco allows you to control electrical devices using commands, procedures and programs. Coco can be used to run Simulations or be physically connected to an Interface Box (see below)

Simulation

Procedures and Programs can be tested on your computer screen without connecting them to any electronic devices.

Simulations, like the Clown, are used to test how well the procedures run.

E.g. A procedure can be written to make the Clown's eyes, mouth, nose and Bow Tie move or light up.

The Clown Simulation lets us see the code working on the computer screen.

Interface

An Interface Box can be connected to a computer.

This box has input and output devices plugged into it.

This allows the computer to control things likes Bulbs, Motors and Buzzers
