Formative Task - Animated Name

You are going to Animate your name. You will need to:

1) Open a new Scratch project and save it as Surname_Firstname_Animate_name

2) Watch the example animation below
 

 

3) Use the built in Tutorial section to help you

4) Choose the Animate a Name tab

5) Work through the steps outlined on the Tutorial

 

Animated Name Task Checklist

  • Have you saved as Surname_Firstname_Animated_Name ?
  • Do all Letters do something when clicked ?
  • Do you have letters that Move ?
  • Do you have letters that play a Sound ?
  • Do you have letters that change Size ?
  • Have you used a suitable background/theme ?
  • Have you added any EXTRA code to make your task unique ?
